this blog will be an easy to read, beginners guide tailored to business owners who need help with the technical side of running social media.

This blog is aiming to be a relaxed yet, informative as I want it to be a stress-free place for people to get information as simply as possible. The people who this blog would benefit from this the most would be older generation who have been running businesses for years however are stuck about the social media aspect of the job. My step-to-step guides will be laid out clearly with photos included to ensure ease of reading.

The direction I plan on sticking to through this blog is…

• Having a relaxing, calming, entertaining tone.
• Engaging with my readers and hopefully connecting with comments, and using their suggestions and queries to improve.
• Educational, and Informative, with step-by-step features and ‘How To’ guides.

I want this blog to be educational, yet entertaining as I know, whilst being at University, it can sometimes make work a lot harder when its boring to read. I plan to bring my own personality out through the tone of voice, as it fits with the branding ‘The R Word’ – as the ‘R’ stands for my first initial.

The colour palette for my blog will be very neutral, as I think it makes it look more simplistic and clean, which is how I want the blog to be portrayed. I want the focus to be on the words, rather than flashy colours surrounding the text.
